Powered by CyberTECH, iHive is a shared workspace and incubator program committed to the Internet of Things. iHive delivers business and technical support to early stage companies providing Internet of Things related products and services. iHive is located in a quality office suite in downtown San Diego and at the center of an exploding high technology (Qualcomm, Sony, AccelerateIT, AIS) and defense community (SPAWAR, BAE, General Atomics, SAIC, Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics NASSCO) and near San Diego State University, National University, UC San Diego and University of San Diego.

iHive members receive business support services from iHive’s experienced and highly skilled services team, robust and redundant data connectivity, shared reception area and conference rooms, and a strategic location along Freeway 5 and the nearby Enterprise Zone. iHive is just 5 minutes from San Diego Airport and less than 15 miles from Naval Air Stations Miramar and Coronado, US Navy Amphibious and USMC base Camp Pendleton.

Members also have the opportunity to collaborate with the talented faculty and students of local highly ranked colleges and universities many graduating with technical degrees in computer science and IT.

CyberHive’s Darin Andersen Outlines Expanded Plans as iHive Debuts

An incubator of cutting-edge high technologies and digital creativity, the June 17, 2014 event featured one day of compelling startup presentations from within San Diego’s exciting and dynamic high tech, internet of things, cybersecurity, big data and analytics from the brightest minds in emerging technology. The event also included art and musical performances by some of San Diego’s finest up and coming talent. 
Industry leaders and an unbeatable lineup of startups showcasing the best new technology concepts, digital security, the Internet of Things and other startup ideas the community has to offer hosted the event. SAM Fest is a collaborative of regional high tech incubators including iHive, CyberHive, EvoNexus, Analytics Ventures, CleanTECH San Diego, Wireless Health Hub.

c6 accepts early stage web-based companies into our six-month accelerator program. Through intense, special structured workshops, speaker series, mentorship sessions and active coaching, tech entrepreneurs will crystallize their ideas and business plans, build out their business model and prototypes as well as present their refined pitches to VCs and angel investors.
